THIS SIGN IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION WITH VERY NICE COLOR, GLOSS AND SUBJECT MATTER. THIS SIGN HAS GREAT DIE-CUT GRAPHICS OF AN INDIAN CHIEF WHICH WAS INDIAN’S GRAPHICS OF CHOICE. THIS SIGN WAS FOUND IN A LARGE ADVERTISING COLLECTION. THIS SIGN MEASURE 12″ BY 5″ AND WEIGHTS 12 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF REAL BAKED METAL. THIS HAS GREAT COLORS AND GRAPHICS AND IS A GREAT PIECE OF ADVERTISING. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE INDIAN MOTORCYCLE INDIAN WITH HIS HEAD DRESS ON. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS SIGN BEFORE AND I LIKE HOW IT SAYS SINCE 1901 AND HAS GREAT INDIAN CHIEF GRAPHICS. THIS SIGN DOES SHOW SOME LIGHT WEAR NEAR THE HOLES , BUT DISPLAYS VERY WELL WITH GORGEOUS GLOSS. Vintage 1970s Michelin Bibendum Motorcycle Metal Double Sided Sign 19 x 18
Genuine 1970s Metal Double sided Michelin Motorcycle Tyres (Bibendum Man) Advertising Sign with fixing side & holes. The sign has 2 different images on each side, both showing the Michelin Bibendum man in different poses. Size – 19″ (49cm) high x 18″ (46cm) wide. It has the angled side and all 4 of its original holes undamaged for mounting and will hang really well. It is in excellent condition and very clean as shown in the photos, with only very very minor age related wear, there is a bit of old paint on the metal side where it mounts to the wall but this will come off and will be largely hidden once fixed other than that there is no paint retouching and what we have is a great sign. It was salvaged in the 1980s my father and is part of his large collection of quality signs which we are now starting to dispose of. These signs have never previously come up for sale and are in great original condition having been mounted in either his garage or shed. Weight – 1.4kg.
