Vintage Cast Metal McDonald’s Ray Kroc Restaurant Advertising Plaque Sign 18X14

These plaques were only presented in 1983 from my research. This one came from a store in Ohio. A lot of the ads for these say they are resin, but these are actually too heavy to be just resin. Plaque weighs in at a hefty 12.5 lbs almost exactly! It is actually cast metal with a silver paint finish. And filled in back by resin. This accounts for the extra weight. One of the scuff marks on mine on outside edge reveals the metal underneath if you look carefully. You will see some of these with the hollow cast metal and no resin on back, so I do not know if they were. Made that way, or if the resin came loose somehow. I also do not know if they are solid aluminum, or some. Kind of alloy metal. Measures just over 18 in wide and just over 14 tall. Canadian Pacific Railway Shield Clock Beaver Plaque Sign Metal Vintage CPR S903. Canadian Pacific has modified the plaque into a clock, which then was given as a gift to a retired employee. Mechanism at the back has been replaced, works and keeps time, batteries not included. Clock has minute and hour hands. Slight paint wear / chipping. Slight surface scratches, slight nicks, slight soiling. See all photos for condition. 17.75 inches / 45 centimetres. 12.25 inches / 31 centimetres. 1.5 inches / 5 centimetres.
