Highway 3 is the Crowsnest Trail, a major east-west crossing of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta and British Columbia, crossing the Continental Divide between provinces at the Crowsnest Pass, an elevation of 4455 feet (1358 meters). This sign is made to the exact early 1960s standard from when the trail was first signed with the crow graphic. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. Most of them have vanished from the back roads of British Columbia many years ago, replaced with the modern issue. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying an arm and a leg on the collector’s market. The sign is 14 by 16 inches, and weighs 4 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign replica, made with great gloss for an appearance that is nearly indistinguishable from the old porcelain signs that were originally used back in the day. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
