This one-off found object sculpture and painting compines the charm of early Klee primitivism with bold cubist abstraction and the charm of a distressed wood gym floor to creat a painting sculpture of brutalist modern fetish. Measuring 12 1/4″ x 8″ x 1 1/2 thick the face of the naturally distressed board is painted and varnished to reflect the head and neck/shoulders (in negative) of the standing figure painted (also in negative) on the back. The artist has accented the border with old-fashioned, square-headed cobbler’s tacks that cause arbitrary splitting of the wood at the edges and lend the feel of an African fetish. It is at once simple and powerful and is marked with the artist’s d! Cipher on the back. This great sign is Large and in charge not to mention pretty heavy and ready to be hung indoor or outdoor with the mounting brackets already connected to back. At some point in its 65 year life someone touched up the red paint on sign but didnt touch the original bottle and white coca cola logo or the original makers mark on bottom of bottle…. We have for your consideration a vintage Coca-Cola electric clock. The frame is made from wood, the face is metal and the front is glass. I tested it for 48 hours and it ran great. It is very quiet. You have to spin a shaft on the back of the clock to get it going. On the face is a small round window where you can see a spinning design rotate when its running. It is fairly heavy weighing in over 8 pounds. This fine piece has great color and would be the center piece of your Coke collection.
