Vintage Metal Sign

Great Old “RED ROSE COFFEE really fresh” Sign. Awesome Colors & Embossed Lettering Add Pop! Approx: 27.5″ W x 19″ H, Very Good Condition. 1956, Made In Canada. Really neat painted Red Rose Coffee metal sign with nice bold colors & raised lettering. Main portion of sign is very nice but has wear (some dings and peeling paint) around edges and on one R as shown in pictures. There are a few holes in near top of metal from previous hanging, but they are a fairly small (under 1/4 or so). We photographed in various lighting situations & angles to assist buyers with assessing condition. We obtained sign from a large private collection and made no attempts to clean sign, other than a gentle dusting. Red Rose Coffee was made by the Red Rose Tea Company of New Brunswick, Canada. The Tea Company opened in 1894, and introduced a coffee line in 1901. Not sure how long they made the coffee, but at least until this sign was made in 1956. Red Rose Tea Co continued in operation until 2018 when acquired by Harris Tea Co of New Jersey USA, but maintained branded label. Red Rose Tea was a leading tea company in Canada for over 100 years, also known for issuing figurines and pictural tea cards as collectibles for decades. We do this often.
