Manufactured in 1940s for: (COCA – COLA BOTTLING COMPANY). Genuine Authentic COCA – COLA Sprite Boy (Kay Display) Masonite & Wood Advertising Sign W/ 12 Button. VERY SPECIAL FIND HERE GUYS AND GALS!!! UP FOR SALE IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND VERY SCARCE ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1940s COCA-COLA SPRITE BOY KAY DISPLAY MASONITE WOOD SIGN WITH 12 PAINTED METAL TIN BUTTON (NOT PORCELAIN). This Item Came Out Of The Dawson’s & Steven’s Coca-Cola Soda Pop Bottle Cap Museum Grayling, Michigan. The sign has brand new screws on both sides of the button and 4 new screws on the backside as well. The wood and masonite are in good condition but the sprite boy decals have some flaking issues along with the grey paint which dripped on it. There is a tiny chip to the bottom of the button edge where the oval hole was at and also a dent on the top middle edge with a tiny spot of paint loss which i have shown you a close up photo of in the very last picture provided. Overall in fair condition but extremely rare to find in “Any” Condition!!! I have not attempted to remove the grey paint drips. 100% THE REAL DEAL – GENUINE AND AUTHENTIC AS THEY COME!!! Hollywood Regency brass wall art sculpture by American designer Curtis Jere. This mid-century modern Curtis Jere bamboo branch depicts slender chutes with delicate leaves. The photos simply do not do it justice. You will certainly fall in love with the graceful organic form and subtle patina variations that are better celebrated by the naked eye. Not only this brass wall art aesthetically pleasing but its in remarkable condition as well. Curtis Jere Bamboo Sculpture Dimensions: 46 Wide x 4 Deep x 27 High. Curtis Jeré was the shared pseudonym of two artists, Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, who used enamel, brass, copper, and steel to create decorative wall sculptures. Fels and Freiler were brothers-in-law who began collaborating in 1963, sharing an interest in what they described as gallery-quality art for the masses. The two employed a variety of traditional techniquessuch as enameling, pouring resin, and bronze castingto create abstract metal works of clustered, modular shapes. In addition to a variety of abstract pieces, the two also created costume jewelry. At its height, Artisan House employed 300 workers. In XL size, this is the iconic Mobile gas Pegasus horse! This flying horse is single sided and faces to the right hand side! The back of this piece is shown in the photographs and is black. Awesome piece in really nice used condition – Displays really well! Solid thick metal with nice layering /shelving. This sign shows signs of use and age. Rust and chipping around the mounting holes and edges. Unique graphic content with vibrant colors, hard to find in this great of condition! The signs have age on them and will show signs of wear. Measures approximately: From the tip of the wing to the very front foot measures 29 inches. From the tip of the backflip to the tip of the nose measures 22 1/2 inches. Weights approximately: 6 LBS.
