24 by 24 inch Louisiana state route 545 highway sign. The sign is made to the 1957 specification which introduced the green and white state map signs. This particular sign dates to the early 1970s or so in manufacture, and has a 1975 installation date and 1985 replacement date. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on high intensity (honeycomb) sheeting on aluminum. It lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service. Signs guaranteed old, original, authentic.
