24 by 24 inch Minnesota state route 56 highway sign. The sign is made to the 1968 specification which introduced the blue and gold signs. The 1972 revision as seen here made the numerals white for better legibility. This particular sign dates to 2001. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on high intensity (honeycomb) sheeting on aluminum. It lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service. Signs guaranteed old, original, authentic.
