The sign is made to the 1910s specification used by the city to designate this famous street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This is the last style of porcelain sign before retroreflective signage, unfortunately not in the distinct shape any longer, were introduced in 1950s. This particular intersection was featured heavily in the various Miracle on 34th Street films throughout the years, and is also the intersection near Macy’s department store’s flagship location.
