24 by 24 inch South Dakota state route 38 highway sign. The sign is made to the 1974 specification which introduced the green-background signs with the map and route number. This particular sign was installed in the 1990s or so, and retired sometime thereafter. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on high intensity (honeycomb) sheeting on aluminum.
