Up for sale today is this Rampart Boulevard, 600 S. The sign is made to the 1946 specification used by the city of Los Angeles to designate this famous street. I can of course make any street, any block number, found anywhere in the City of Angels, and everywhere else too! I can make street signs for any city and street; inquire about your home town! The sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 6 lb. And is 30 by 10 inches. If you would like a different size, street name, or block number, please do not hesitate to inquire. This is a high quality, heavy steel, non-reflective sign – perfect for indoor or outdoor display, with great gloss to replicate the old-school porcelain look. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! I can of course make these signs with any route number of your choice, and not just this style, but older and newer ones, and even the classic mileage, direction, and city limit guide signs from bygone eras. Anything you would like, made with unsurpassed quality right here in the good old US of A, packed with care, and mailed from zip code 61833. Life doesn’t happen along the interstates. It’s against the law. Please note: The watermark and bear logo in the design preview will not appear on the actual sign. We have begun adding a watermark because we have had problems with other companies copying our artwork to make lesser-quality imitations. You will only get this high level of quality in design and materials from Signs by Jake.

California US Route 66 marker. Up for sale today is this replica California US Route 66 sign. Made to the exact standards as used by the Automobile Club of Southern California between 1928 and 1934 along the world’s most famous road, including the rarely-seen blue ACSC logo only used in the highway’s early days later issues sported a black logo. Route 66 needs no introduction-it’s been the historic Mother Road, from John Steinbeck to Bobby Troup, and has arguably become even more famous since its formal decommissioning between 1964 and 1985. 66 has become the ultimate lost highway, the road trip that everyone takes.. Get your kicks, on route 66! An original of these is very hard to come by. They were retired from the roads of California long ago, with most of them being destroyed and only a few examples circulating on the collector’s market. An original would easily run many thousands of dollars on the collector’s market. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without breaking the bank. The sign is 12 by 12 inches, and weighs 2 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel replica sign. Kingman, Barstow, San Bernardino… Please do see my other auctions for quality California state and Interstate route markers! Would you like a number not seen here? Or perhaps a different style? I can of course make these signs with any route number of your choice, and not just this style, but older and newer ones, and even the classic mileage, direction, and city limit guide signs from the era. Interstate 8, Beaches guide sign. Up for sale today is this California freeway guide sign for Interstate 8 toward unspecified Beaches. Made to the exact 1959 state standards, as used until the 2000s by the state of California on its freeways. This is an exact replica of one posted above the westbound lanes of I-8 at its interchange with I-5. The original is an exceptionally old porcelain enamel sign that has never been retrofitted with reflective buttons, which is quite the rare find! An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; many still enjoy their active service on the highways. The original of this sign is also seventeen and a half feet wide, so we’ve scaled it down for more wieldy display. Here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble… The sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 6 lb. And is 21 by 12 inches. If you would like a different size, please do not hesitate to inquire. This is a high quality, heavy steel, non-reflective sign – perfect for indoor or outdoor display. California US Route 101 marker. Up for sale today is this California US 101 route sign. Made to the exact standards as used between 1928 and 1934 along this historic highway. This sign style was the first-ever US route marker posted in California. Only the first six years of production got the distinct blue logo; later issues changed this to black. US Route 101 is the last surviving highway from the US system of 1926 that still retains much of its mileage in California, though it has been truncated between San Diego and Los Angeles, being wholly replaced by Interstate 5. However, the historical old signs are quickly disappearing, both from sight and from memory. From Los Angeles, the road heads up the coast to San Francisco, and then even further north through Eureka and into Oregon, before entering Washington and curling around the Olympic Peninsula. An original of these, complete with the blue logo of the Automobile Club of Southern California, would cost many thousands of dollars if it ever came to the market. Maybe only about five or six of the blue-logo style of signs survive to the present day! So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without breaking the bank. The sign is 16 by 15 inches, and weighs 4 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel replica sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. California poppy Scenic Route marker. Up for sale today is this California Scenic Route sign. Made to the exact state standard, as used from the sign’s introduction in 1971 to the present day, complete with the dark blue background found on newly-issued signs (which often fades to a much lighter blue after years in the sun). These signs with the “scenic route” text are typically posted at each end of the scenic route in question, while the signs with just the poppy and mountain (without the text) were posted at frequent intervals along the route itself, to reassure drivers that they were, in fact, still on the scenic route. An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along California’s scenic highways. The authorities know where they are supposed to be-on their posts, not in the trunk of your car. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without chancing legal trouble. The sign is 16 by 8 inches, and weighs 3 lb. This is a high quality, non-reflective replica sign printed on heavy steel. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. California elevation 10,000 sign. Up for sale today is this elevation 10000 feet sign. Made to the exact standards as used from 1947 to the early 1950s by the California Department of Public Works, Division of Highways. This figure appears only on one state highway in California: the old route 190 going up into the mountains from the Owens Valley along Horseshoe Meadows Road. This pass would’ve topped out at about 11,400 feet, but was never completed. If you would like a different number of feet of elevation, please inquire! An original of these, complete with the seal of the California Division of Highways, is very rare to find scrapped; only two of them were known to exist and they may not even survive!
