Vintage Rare Metal Super Pyro Anti Freeze Thermometer Sign Oil Gas 18x24 Snowman

Here is a great piece that you do not see often, rare to find. I have decided to sell it along with a few other pieces I have collected. The face of the sign has the awesome graphics of a Snowman semi melting. It has a working thermometer in tact as well. Here is a nice sign to add to the collection, pretty decent condition, with some paint ware and staining mostly on the bottom area, as seen in the photos it is a great piece for display. This great piece measure 32 inches tall and 18 inches wide. If you collect signs, gas and oil signs, cans, gas pumps, lubster, Gulf, Valvoline, Mobil, Standard, Texaco, Willard, Ac Delco, Service Station Advertising Display rack, BFGoodrich, Exide Batteries, firestone etc, Add this nice piece to your collection. THIS SIGN HAS AMAZING GRAPHICS OF A STRAWBERRY SUNDAE FROM THE RARE CALIFORNIA FOSTER’S FREEZE ICE CREAM SHOP. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN SIMILAR TO DAIRY QUEEN BUT FOR CALIFORNIA. THIS HAS GREAT GRAPHICS AND COLORS AND IS MADE OF THICK PORCELAIN METAL. (NOT CHEAP TIN OR THIN METAL) THIS SIGN HAS BOTH ORIGINAL SILVER SPLIT BACK GROMMETS STILL IN-TACKED. Nice Vintage Prestone Anti-Freeze You’re Safe Set Sure Porcelain Metal Advertising Thermometer. Average to below average amount of wear, staining and paint loss, mostly by mounting holes and along edges. Thermometer is still there but I can’t see a reading. I believe this to be from 1940’s. It measures approximately 36″ by 9″ at widest part. Displays nicely and would make a great addition to your collection. I have left it up to you to either clean it or leave as is.
