More specifically, the 139.1 kilometres (86.4 mi) road connects Toronto to the Niagara Peninsula and Buffalo, New York. It has no posted route number, but is considered a 400-series highway, and is referred to as Highway 451 for Ministry of Transportation administrative purposes. This sign is made to the exact 1955 provincial standard that is still in use to the present day. An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along Queen Elizabeth Way. The authorities know where they are supposed to be-on their posts, not in the trunk of your car. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without chancing legal trouble. The sign is 24 by 38 inches, and weighs 15 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality.
