United States National Wildlife Refuge route marker. Up for sale today is this classic blue on white National Wildlife shield, with the goose. Made to the exact standards as used in the 1930s. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. Most of them have vanished from the back roads of the United States many years ago, replaced with the modern issue. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying an arm and a leg on the collector’s market. The sign is 26 by 31 inches, and weighs 18 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign, printed with great gloss to replicate the look of the old-school porcelain originals. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! For your consideration is this beautiful US department of the interior fish and wildlife service Porcelain Sign. In really nice used condition – Displays really well! This is an incredibly cool national wildlife refuge shield sign! Solid thick metal with nice layers /shelving of REAL PORCELAIN! This sign shows minor signs of use and age. Rust and chipping around the mounting holes and edges. The unique graphic content makes this a GREAT addition to any Advertising collection! The signs have age on them and will show signs of wear. Measures approximately: 10 x 9. Weights approximately: 1.9 LBS. Vintage embossed metal Wisconsin Wild Life Refuge hunting sign

This is a nice vintage green and cream Wisconsin Wild Life Refuge sign. The Wisconsin conservation commission went out of existence on July 1st 1968. It was changed to the department of natural resources, so this sign is pre 1968. It is in good condition with some rust around the edges, mostly on the bottom. When laying flat, one of the top corners pops up a bit, so you will most likely need 4 nails to hang this one. It measures 18 1/4″ x 12 1/2″.
