Your raw steel finish is created at our local mill and can be darker or lighter than our pictures depending on what material is being recycled that day. I will turn your logo into a plasma ready file and cut it out of 1/8 thick mild steel. Send your logo or artwork to me through a message using the following file types. Once we have a working proof your custom sign will be cut out using a homemade CNC plasma table that precisely cuts out your design using a 50,000-degree plasma torch. Once your design cools I start the finishing process to remove any unwanted slag and smooth out any sharp edges leaving you with a raw steel sign perfect for your antique finish, paint or natural rust. Plasma can only cut in negative space e. Black and white so there are some limitations to the amount of detail that can be crammed into a given space. I like to think about it as a silhouette, you get the message but some of the finer points are left out. Leaving you with a simplified and powerful impression that is recognizable and memorable. This UV protected finish will protect the steel in the toughest conditions including outside in wet and salty environments. Powder coat is a thick industrial coating that is VOC free and holds up for many years. OUTDOOR GLOSS CLEAR – The Outdoor Gloss Clear finish is a glossy clear powder coat that makes the steel darker, sometimes even black. OUTDOOR FLAT BLACK – The Outdoor Flat Black finish is a matte black powder coat. OUTDOOR GLOSS WHITE – The Outdoor Gloss White finish is a glossy white powder coat. OUTDOOR RED – The Outdoor Red finish is a glossy, bright red powder coat. ALUMINUM – The Aluminum finish is the best option if you want the look of shiny metal or stainless steel on a budget. This finish is rust-proof and weather-proof (great for marine environments) and is lightweight. Aluminum is also a soft metal and scratches easily, so please be careful when opening your package. ALUMINUM POWDER (GLOSS CLEAR, FLAT BLACK, GLOSS WHITE, GLOSS RED) – These Aluminum powder coat finish options will help prevent chips and scratches and give you more color choices.
