Up for sale today is this S. The sign is made to the circa 1970s specifications used by the city of Chicago and still seen along its streets to the present day. This is the last style of all-capitals signage, before they went to mixed case in 2009. I can make any street name sign, from Chicago or any other city! Ask about your favorite street! The sign is 36 by 6 inches, and weighs about 5 lb. It is printed on one side, with the other side blank. This is a high quality, heavy steel remake. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! Would you like a street name or block number not seen here? Or perhaps a different style? I can of course make these signs with any street name of your choice, and not just this style, but older and newer ones, and even the classic mileage, direction, and route shield signs from the era.
