Route 1 is the eastern seaboard’s longest numbered highway, totaling over 1700 miles (2730 km) between Fort Kent, Maine and Key West, Florida. An original of these is very hard to come by. They were retired from the roads of North Carolina long ago, with most of them being destroyed and only a few examples circulating on the collector’s market. An original would easily run many hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the collector’s market. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without breaking the bank.
